ANALYSIS

Poker Rummy is an ageless game of cleverness and tactics. Rearrange your hand into sets (collections of the same rank) and runs (sequential cards of the same suit) while reducing "deadwood"—cards that do not belong to sets or runs. The game concludes when a player achieves the target score, generally 100 points, transforming it into a battle of wits against your adversary to emerge victorious.


GUIDELINES

  1. Objective: Reduce "deadwood" in your hand by creating sets and runs.
  • Sets: Collections of cards with the same rank (e.g., three 7s).
  • Runs: Successive series of cards in the same suit (e.g., 4, 5, 6 of Hearts).
  1. Scoring:
  • Your opponent's remaining deadwood points are added to your score.
  • Knock or "go gin" (no deadwood) to optimize points.
  1. Victory:
  • The initial player to attain or exceed 100 points triumphs.
  • Prevent your adversary from reaching 100 points first!
